“The future of education is 5,000 years old,Ancient Indian wisdom meets the biology of the human brain.”
Pushpa Valli Vangaveeti
Pushpa Valli brings ancientwisdom to modern education.
Inspired by her family and a belief in every child's potential, Pushpa Valli has spent more than two decades connecting India's learning traditions with contemporary educational science.
Pushpa Valli Vangaveeti, also known as Valli Vangaveeti, is a visionary leader and a leading voice in the evolution of Indian education. As Founder and CEO of The Prapoorna and a neuroscience practitioner, her expertise spans academic and curriculum architecture. Armed with an advanced Master of Science in Psychology and as an alumna of IIM Calcutta, she has also studied specialised courses from Harvard, Columbia, and CQ University, Australia. Ms. Valli operates at the intersection of education, cognitive science, neuroscience, and ancient Indian education systems. Her work is defined not only by the institutions she leads, but also by the lives of students she has empowered to learn without fear.
Driven by the philosophy that "joy is the highest form of learning," she has spent over two decades dismantling rote-based systems to build environments where curiosity thrives.
Backed by more than 2 decades of dedicated research and field work, her work bridges the gap between brain science laboratories and daily school timetables.
Rather than disrupting what schools teach, thereby maintaining absolute synchronization with required board metrics including the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), International Baccalaureate (IB), and Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE), her methodologies revolutionize the internal mechanism of how teachers deliver that content. By focusing on simple classroom delivery structures, attention tracking, and natural memory building, her systems align the everyday K-12 school experience with the biological rules of the growing human mind.
She was awarded the pride of the nation award by Ms. Soundararajan - the then governor of Telangana and Lt. Governor of Puducherry, the innovative curriculum of the year award by Dr. Deepak Vohra, Former Indian Ambassador, best educational leadership of the year award by Minister Ramdas Athawale, Government of India and many more.
She was also acknowledged by one of the most prestigious world book of records-London and international book of world records for organising multiple world records.
Through Prapoorna Foundation, she extends that commitment beyond classrooms, creating opportunities for underprivileged children and communities, with the next generation at the heart of her purpose.

Her Vision
To bring India’s timeless educational wisdom into dialogue with modern educational science while offering a future-ready Indian model of learning to global citizens.
Her Mission
Grounded in both India’s ancient holistic education and cutting-edge cognitive science, she crafts future-ready neural learning frameworks that transform how the brain naturally retains, recalls, and creates, fostering a joyful, fear-free everyday practice of modern education.
Family and childhood
Roots
Pushpa Valli was born in Chennai and raised in Narsapur, West Godavari, Andhra Pradesh, a place that shaped her values, grounded her identity, and gave her an early sense of purpose.
The Family That Shaped Her
Her father, Sri Jakkam Babji, served as Society President and strongly believed in independence, personal growth, and learning through experience. He gave Pushpa Valli the freedom to take risks, make mistakes, and find her own path, a freedom that later gave her the courage to pursue an unconventional journey.
Her mother, Smt. Jakkam Ammani, served as Chairperson for Narasapur Municipality. A woman of quiet strength, deep spiritual practice, and unwavering values, she has remained a grounding force throughout her life.
Her elder sister, Kanchana Valli, has been one of her most constant sources of support and belief, standing beside her through the many unconventional decisions that shaped her journey.
Together, her family gave her the freedom to explore, the values to stay grounded, and the courage to build a path of her own.
Her Husband and Daughter: A Pillar of Strength
As Pushpa Valli’s journey continued to evolve, an important part of her strength has been the deep bond she shares with her husband, Sri Vangaveeti Radha Krishna Garu.
Sri Radha Krishna Garu is the son of the late Vangaveeti Mohana Ranga Garu, a legendary and deeply influential figure in the Telugu states, whose connection with the people and public life continue to be remembered across generations.
Carrying that legacy forward, Sri Radha Krishna Garu has built his own identity in public service: unconventional in his thinking, radical in his approach, and deeply committed to the people he serves.
The relationship between Pushpa Valli and Sri Radha Krishna Garu is built on mutual respect, understanding, companionship, and a strong belief in each other’s potential. Their bond has been one where both have continued to learn from, encourage, and strengthen one another through the different phases of life.
Their shared understanding has also reinforced a larger sense of purpose: to remain connected to people from all sections of society, especially those who are underprivileged and underserved, and to contribute in whatever ways they can to create meaningful change.
Together, Pushpa Valli and Sri Radha Krishna Garu welcomed their daughter, Rudhira, in September 2025, bringing a deeply personal and joyful new dimension to their journey.
With Rudhira, her story continues to evolve, adding the deeply personal dimension of motherhood to Pushpa Valli’s lifelong exploration of childhood learning and human potential.
Her roots gave her strong values; her family gave her the freedom to find her own path. Today, that foundation continues to shape the work she does.

Gurukul awakening
Where ancient wisdom first revealed itself.
Her journey began at Rishi Gurukulam, a CBSE residential school rooted in ancient Indian learning traditions. Here she witnessed for the first time what ancient practices could do for a child’s mind. Students were mastering subjects faster, more confidently, and more joyfully than in any conventional classroom. That observation changed everything.
In 2005, she founded Prapoorna Children’s Club, her first institution. Children spent 45 minutes each evening in yoga, meditation, and chanting, then applied that focus to their school subjects. Cognitive engagement was significantly higher. This was her first real proof that ancient practices work.

Global Curriculum exposure
Understanding global curriculum.
To understand how these principles could enter a mainstream school curriculum, she joined DRS International School, one of the oldest IB schools. This gave her structured exposure to globally recognised curriculum frameworks and showed her clearly where ancient wisdom could be integrated into formal education.
Drawing from years of observation and formal study in Child Psychology, Cognitive Science, Educational Neuroscience, and Neuroplasticity, she developed Prapoorna Neurovidya. This trademark-registered, neuroscience-based learning framework maps ancient Gurukul practices to modern brain science. Not a theory, but a tested, structured system.
Sri Chaitanya gave her the canvas she had been preparing for. Starting as Academic Coordinator and growing to Chief of Academics, she designed curriculum, trained teachers, and built learning systems that brought ancient Indian learning practices into everyday modern classrooms across hundreds of campuses.
The results became undeniable. By designing brain-compatible learning systems and training teachers in these methods, she enabled students to participate in four World Record events, recognised by the International Book of World Records and the World Book of Records, London. The latest record involved over 10,000 students across 20 states.
A body of work acknowledged nationally and internationally.
Her work includes four world record events and recognition for educational leadership, including the Indo-UK Leadership Award presented at the House of Lords, London.
Prapoorna Foundation was founded with a clear and deliberate purpose: to offer the wisdom of ancient India to those who need it most. Through its seven wings, the Foundation is dedicated to bringing these learning practices to underprivileged children and communities across India, because every child, regardless of circumstance, deserves to learn with joy, confidence, and dignity.
